Aura Teams Up with Habitat for Humanity
The Meridian workers were being supervised by Scott Duff, owner of Aura Landscaping of St. Catharines. The company donated its time, tools and expertise for the job, while materials were purchased by Habitat.
“The sod was supplied by Hamilton Sod, and the plants were supplied by Mori Gardens (of Niagara-on-the-Lake),” Duff said.
It was the first time Duff had been involved in a Habitat project.
“Keith (Gowans) from Habitat called me back in February, and we said yes.”
The work being done is something that would normally take two days to complete, Duffs said.
“But we’re doing it in one.”
